Workshop: Integration of Biodiversity in the Agriculture Sector in Conservation Areas in Northern Mozambique – Case Study of the Chipanje Chetu Community Conservation Area

The workshops had three main objectives:
1. Identify the main opportunities, and problems/difficulties regarding biodiversity conservation, food security and poverty reduction in the Chipanje Chetu Community Conservation Area (ACCCC) and Mount Namuli.
2. Discuss solutions/actions to address the identified problems.
3. Identify the main actions being developed by the different actors at ACCCC and Monte Namuli and their potential for achieving the proposed solutions.34 participants attended the workshop, including Local government structures, civil society organizations and NGOs, Peasant's representation, the private sector, academia, and other related organizations working in agriculture, conservation and forestry.
