Local Workshop: "Integration of Biodiversity in the Agriculture Sector – Case Study of Mount Namuli"

Today, 19th July 2024, the Local Workshop titled "Integration of Biodiversity in the Agriculture Sector – Case Study of Mount Namuli" was held in Gurué District, Zambézia Province, as part of the FARSYMABI Project.
This workshop aims to present and discuss the findings from research conducted between June and October 2023 with local stakeholders, including government, civil society, academia, and the private sector.
The workshop also seeks to explore strategic options and intervention areas suitable for the context of Mount Namuli to harmonise local development with biodiversity conservation. FARSYMABI highlights the importance of linking the national policy framework with the local socio-ecological context.
The FARSYMABI Project is coordinated by OMR, in partnership with the University of Lisbon/ISA, UEM/FAEF, and Lúrio University/FCA.
